Hello Karen and Andrew! How are you guys doing? Your website is VERY impressive. Especially the map feature shows how much you actually did travel. AMAZING. You guys keep on impressing me with your stories. Your calendar project is also something that also amazes. Your immense dedicationto help the African NGO even after your volunteering stint was over is truly inspiring. Hope all is well back home now with both of you and your new jobs.
Mungu abariki wewe.

Firstly, No Andrew is it not me with your DVDs. Secondly, what a fabulous experience you guys have had but it is good to have you back at Alcoa Karen. The journals have been excelent and entertained my mum in the mornings whilst waiting for the kids to get up, when's the book coming out? By the way Andrew - shave the breard off, or was you trying for a George Micheal look so we could do "Wake me up before you Go Go"!

Hi, Just been reading your last entry where you describe being told by a friendly local about a remote hot spring suitable for skinny dipping. What if this local owns some camouflage gear and a good camera and subscribes to voyeur monthly? Had you thought of that? Add it to the list: 1. Never eat anything bigger than your head. 2. Never take advice from strangers about good areas for naturist activities.

Hey guys....what a fantastic South Island, NZ entry! I couldn't stop laughing!! I can't believe you're so jinxed! Glad none of that bad luck was following you in the Kimberley.
You probably don't want to hear that I saw hundreds of dolphins, the jet boats were running in Queenstown, it was a beautiful day in Milford Sound & I managed to get up on my heli-hike on the first attempt when I was in the South Island! Oh, but I don't have the stories to tell like you guys!!
And I think I may be able to set up our own exhibition of waterfalls...why don't we do a combined 'Sunsets & Waterfalls' exhibition? Reckon we could fill Wembley Arena with our photos together.

Your tangent about waving on the wide open roads of the outback did not go unappreciated. As I was traveling in the Northern Territory and Western Aus with my friend and her dad we were constantly getting after her dad that he should wave. It was pretty comical. Somehow, we science-types failed to quantify and categorize the response rate and driver type though. Good work!

Hi there well this is a message to wish Karen a great Birthday for tomorrow, where ever you may be what ever you may be doing! Adrian and I are good, we went to Stratford the weekend for a bit of culture...we went to see "As you like it" and both really enjoyed it. Cathy's wedding went well even though it did rain, it was lovely to see her and Ade so happy. They went to Corsica for their honeymoon and said it was well worth a visit. My Mum is in Italy at the moment only for 10 days unfortunately. Things are good this end, happy and health,I did forget to say I am now a payroll supervisor as from 8.8.05, helps the old bank balance. Anyway have a good day, I'll catch up soon. Love Kelly

Laughed out loud (alot) at your Cuenca Journal entry. I swear you should get a publisher to view it. Fantastic reading. baby is now officially late (and frankly tardy). Not a good way to start in life. Will have a severe word when it arrives.

Hi, so sorry to read that karen hasn't been well. Lots of love from us, hope you're feeling better soon. Although you knew this would be a year of new experiences, I bet you didn't think one of them would be having a birthday which involved no alcohol! It could have been worse, you could have been stung by a hepatitis bee, or even worse gone swimming in the hepatitis sea! Thinking of you, Love Roger and Rachel.xx

Well you definately have a budding a career ahead of you as a travel writer when you get back! We were laughing lots at your mining helmet debacle. Have decided that when our baby is born next month we'll probably hold one of those "festivals of lactating mothers" here in Worlingworth. Can't do any harm. Read with interest your confessions of narcotics use and have passed then on to my colleagues in the drugs and serious crime unit. Keep the journal entries coming. (Will show Mum where the caps lock key is next time i'm over there.) Love Rog.
